What the song is about

“Zitti e buoni” (quiet and good — roughly “shut up and behave”) is what adults say to noisy kids, and Måneskin threw it back at everyone who told them to tone it down. The song is a rebellion: they're “out of their minds” but different from the people who doubted them, and they're not going to be quiet.

The Roman band won the Sanremo Festival in 2021 and then Eurovision the same year in Rotterdam, becoming a global rock act. It was the first Italian Eurovision win since 1990.

Damiano's delivery is fast and aggressive, with a few strong words, so it's B2. Learn the slang “fuori di testa” (crazy, literally out of your head) and the commands, and the chorus will hit hard.
