What the song is about

In “Felices los 4” (2017), Maluma is seeing a woman who already has a partner. Instead of making a scene, he shrugs: if she wants to keep seeing both of them, fine — and if he wants someone else too, then all four can be happy. It's a provocative, tongue-in-cheek take on jealousy and open relationships.

The song mixes reggaeton with a laid-back salsa and pop feel, and Maluma sings it slowly in his smooth Medellín Spanish. A salsa version with Marc Anthony followed.

Grammar to notice: the polite indifference of “no me importa” (I don't mind) and the conditionals — if you want, if he finds out. A very clear song for B1, with only light slang.
