What the song is about

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” (뚜두뚜두) is the sound of gunfire, and the song is BLACKPINK at their most confident. They look sweet, they say, but don't be fooled: their attitude is anything but, and they'll hit you with that ddu-du ddu-du — the finger-gun move that became the song's signature.

Released in 2018, it was the first K-pop group video to reach a billion views on YouTube, and it put BLACKPINK on the world map.

The Korean is short and punchy, with plenty of English. A useful contrast to learn: 착한 얼굴 (a kind, innocent face) and 태도 (attitude).
