What the song is about

“How You Like That” (2020) is BLACKPINK's song of revenge and resilience. Someone thought they had brought her down to the very bottom; she lets them think so — and then rises back up, stronger than before, asking: so, how do you like that?

Its video set a YouTube record for the most views in 24 hours when it was released, and the song confirmed BLACKPINK as the biggest girl group in the world.

The Korean lines are short and defiant, mixed with English. Good vocabulary for ups and downs: 바닥 (the floor, rock bottom), 다시 (again), 끝 (the end).
