“Love Dive” (2022) is IVE's song about diving into love with total confidence. The singer knows she's irresistible — she loves herself, and she dares the other person to fall for her, to dive in and see. It's playful, a little narcissistic, and proud of it.
It won Song of the Year at several Korean award shows and made IVE one of the leading groups of K-pop's fourth generation.
The chorus mixes English and Korean, and the Korean lines are short and punchy. Great vocabulary for love and attraction: 사랑 (love), 빠지다 (to fall into), 숨 (breath).
