What the song is about

“Tití Me Preguntó” (Auntie asked me) opens with a family scene every Latin American knows: the aunt at the party asking when you're going to settle down. Bad Bunny's answer is a boast — there's one girl today, another tomorrow — that slowly gives way, in the second half, to a softer, more honest admission about why he can't commit.

The song, from Un Verano Sin Ti (2022), switches beats mid-way from Dominican dembow to a slower, more melodic section. It is one of his fastest and most slang-packed tracks, which is why we put it at the top of the Spanish ladder.

Tití is how Puerto Ricans say “auntie”. Expect clipped words, English mixed in, and Caribbean pronunciation where “r” can sound like “l” and the final “s” vanishes. Learn the key slang first, and the song opens up.
