“Monaco” (2023), from nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana, is Bad Bunny looking at how far he's come: from Puerto Rico to the yachts and racetracks of Monte Carlo. It's a victory lap, full of luxury and of jabs at people who doubted him.
The track is built on a sample of Charles Aznavour's French chanson “Hier encore” (yesterday still), a song about looking back at one's youth — a clever contrast with the bragging. The video, with Al Pacino, became a talking point.
The rap is fast and dense, so it's a B2 challenge. Start with the luxury vocabulary — the yacht, money, the race — and listen for how he mixes Spanish, English and brand names in a single line.
