What the song is about

“Ojitos Lindos” (pretty little eyes) is the gentlest song on Bad Bunny's Un Verano Sin Ti (2022). He's fallen hard for someone: one look from her and he's lost, and he can't believe she chose him. Li Saumet, the singer of the Colombian electro-cumbia band Bomba Estéreo, answers with her own warm verse.

The rhythm is soft and swaying, closer to Colombian cumbia and electronic pop than to reggaeton, and the voices are calm. It became one of the album's most-loved songs.

Spanish loves diminutives, and the title shows why: ojos (eyes) becomes ojitos, which sounds tender, not just small. Listen for “lindo” too — the everyday Latin American word for pretty or lovely.
