tsukkomu
🇯🇵 Japanese slang from Osaka
What does “ツッコむ” mean?
to call out a silly line (the comeback)
Example
“今のボケ、誰かツッコんでや!”
ima no boke, dareka tsukkonde ya!
Somebody call out that joke!
Good to know
Osaka talk works like manzai comedy: one says the silly line (ボケ), the other the comeback (ツッコミ). Leaving a joke hanging is a letdown.

Yamato
True… then shall I be the straight man?
Rina
No no! When you do the comebacks, your face is scary.
Yamato
Seriously, you say such pointless stuff. I'll whack you!
